This monthly support webinar helps all types of researchers utilize the cancer genomics data and resources available at NCI’s Genomic Data Commons (GDC). GDC experts will demonstrate how to find and access genomic data, how to use web-based tools, give in-depth explanations of bioinformatics pipelines, and more.


Intended Audience

This webinar is intended for developers and bioinformaticians who are interested in learning more about the NCI Genomic Data Commons (GDC) application programming interface (API) to use within their applications to query and download GDC data or submit data to the GDC.

Abstract

The GDC Application Programming Interface (API) drives GDC data access and submission tools and provides programmatic access to GDC functionality. This includes searching for, downloading, and submitting data and metadata. This webinar will provide an overview of the API endpoints, and demonstrate how GDC applications use the API.
