The GDC provides the research community with large quantities of molecular, clinical, and imaging data. Learn how to use the GDC Data Transfer Tool (DTT) and Application Programming Interface (API) for high volumes of data transfer.


Intended Audience

This webinar is intended for any cancer researcher who is interested in downloading large data sets from the Genomic Data Commons.

Abstract

The Genomic Data Commons (GDC) provides the cancer research community with large quantities of molecular, clinical, and imaging data. To support the high volumes of data transfer and the varying needs and resources of users, the GDC provides a variety of methods for data transfer, such as the GDC Data Transfer Tool (DTT) and Application Programming Interface (API). This 30-minute webinar will demonstrate use of the DTT and API for downloading large data sets at the GDC. This webinar will also discuss how to troubleshoot data download issues.
