The GDC has released Data Release 46, bringing new genomic and clinical datasets to support cancer research. Highlights of this release include:
- Whole genome sequencing (WGS) MuTect2 and VarScan2 variant calls from various studies in the Variant Call Format (VCFs)
- Whole exome sequencing (WXS) variant calls from the Childhood Cancer Data Initiative (CCDI)
- RNA sequencing data (RNA-Seq) from the Applied Proteogenomics Organizational Learning and Outcomes (APOLLO) breast cancer study
- RNA-Seq data for cases from the new Participant Engagement and Cancer Genome Sequencing (PE-CGS) Center for Optimization of Participant Engagement for Cancer Characterization (COPECC)
- 183 cases and DNA, RNA-Seq, and methylation array data for The Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) Cutaneous Melanoma (CM) Collection
- Updated annotated MuTect2 VCFs that resolve previously missing chromosomes 10 and 20
