The GDC has released GDC 2.0 which expands on the GDC Data Portal initially launched in 2016 by providing a cohort-centric design and new analysis tools. GDC 2.0 features include:
- Enhanced tools for building custom cohorts of interest
- New Analysis Center with a selection of apps for analyzing custom cohorts
- New gene and variant level data analysis and visualization tools
- An updated app-based framework allowing integration of new tools
- Updated technology stack
The GDC welcomes feedback on GDC 2.0 through our GDC Support Center at support@nci-gdc.datacommons.io. The GDC Data Portal initially launched in 2016 will remain available for a brief period to allow time for users to transition to use of GDC 2.0.
For information on GDC 2.0 and supporting videos, please see the GDC 2.0 Data Portal User's Guide. As GDC 2.0 is cohort-centric, analysis starts with a custom cohort. Please see the Quick Start for instructions on how to build and analyze a cohort and the GDC 2.0 Video Tutorial for video instruction.
