Additional TCGA WGS Alignments and Variant Calls, New NCI-MATCH Trial Arms Data, and More!

GDC Data Release 40 is now accessible on the GDC Data Portal. This release introduces new data sets featuring additional TCGA WGS alignments and variant calls, WXS and RNA-Seq data for new NCI-MATCH Trial arms, and more. Below is a summary of the key highlights.

  • 57 new WGS alignments, accompanied by variant calls from 486 tumor-normal pairs spanning across 13 projects from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) program
  • WXS and RNA-Seq data from arms R, S1, S2, and Z1I of the Molecular Analysis for Therapy Choice (NCI-MATCH) precision medicine trial:
    • MATCH-R – BRAF Fusions, non-V600K or non-V600E Mutations (phs002029)
    • MATCH-S1 – NF1 Mutations (phs002153)
    • MATCH-S2 – GNAQ or GNA11 Mutations (phs002178)
    • MATCH-Z1I – BRCA1, BRCA2 Mutations (phs002058)
  • New targeted sequencing data from the Therapeutically Applicable Research to Generate Effective Treatments (TARGET) program
  • WGS, RNA-Seq, and miRNA-Seq data for the Comprehensive genomic characterization of radiation-related papillary thyroid cancer in the Ukraine (REBC-THYR) project
  • Over 300 tissue slide images from NCI's Cancer Model Development for the Human Cancer Model Initiative (HCMI)
  • 79 new cases from NCI’s Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) program
