GDC Data Release 40 is now accessible on the GDC Data Portal. This release introduces new data sets featuring additional TCGA WGS alignments and variant calls, WXS and RNA-Seq data for new NCI-MATCH Trial arms, and more. Below is a summary of the key highlights.
- 57 new WGS alignments, accompanied by variant calls from 486 tumor-normal pairs spanning across 13 projects from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) program
- WXS and RNA-Seq data from arms R, S1, S2, and Z1I of the Molecular Analysis for Therapy Choice (NCI-MATCH) precision medicine trial:
- New targeted sequencing data from the Therapeutically Applicable Research to Generate Effective Treatments (TARGET) program
- WGS, RNA-Seq, and miRNA-Seq data for the Comprehensive genomic characterization of radiation-related papillary thyroid cancer in the Ukraine (REBC-THYR) project
- Over 300 tissue slide images from NCI's Cancer Model Development for the Human Cancer Model Initiative (HCMI)
- 79 new cases from NCI’s Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium (CPTAC) program
