GDC Now Supports m6A MeRIP-Seq Data and the UICC Tumor Staging System

In GDC Data Dictionary Release 2.5.0, the GDC added support for:

  • MeRIP-Seq Data Submission – Methylated RNA immunoprecipitation sequencing (MeRIP-Seq) characterizes m6A-methylated RNA
  • UICC TNM Cancer Staging – The "TNM" cancer staging system from the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) classifies tumor site and size, lymph node involvement, and metastasis
  • New Properties – Several new properties and enumerated values for diagnosis, treatment, molecular tests, exposure, and pathology details for GDC supported programs
